Instructions
1. Preheat the Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
2. Prepare the Chicken Wings:
No Thawing Needed: There's no need to thaw the wings first.
Optional Oil Coating: Toss the frozen wings in olive oil to help the seasonings stick and promote crispiness.
3. Season the Wings:
In a bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
Coat the chicken wings with the seasoning mixture.
4. Arrange in the Air Fryer:
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
5. Cook the Wings:
Initial Cook: Cook the wings at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.
Shake and Continue: Open the air fryer and shake the basket to ensure even cooking.
Final Cook: Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes until the wings are crispy and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Optional: Toss in Sauce:
If desired, toss the cooked wings in buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, or your favorite wing sauce.
7. Serve:
Serve hot with fresh celery and carrot sticks and a side of ranch or blue cheese dressing.
Notes
Crispier Wings: For extra crispy skin, add 2-3 more minutes to the cook time.
Flavor Variations: Try lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, or honey garlic sauces for different flavors.
Storage: Store leftover wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to retain crispiness.
