Ingredients

  • - 1½ lbs sirloin steak cut into bite-sized cubes
  • - Salt and black pepper to taste
  • - 1 tbsp olive oil
  • - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • - 5 cloves garlic minced
  • - 1 tsp fresh thyme or ½ tsp dried
  • - Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
  • - Optional: squeeze of lemon for brightness

Instructions

  • Pat steak dry with paper towels. Cut into 1-inch cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak cubes in a single layer and sear 1–2 minutes per side. Don’t overcrowd the pan.
  • Remove steak from the pan and reduce heat to medium.
  • Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and thyme, sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Return steak to the skillet. Toss to coat in the garlic butter.
  • Optional: Add a squeeze of lemon and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Naturally low carb and gluten free. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a hot skillet.
